Personally, I'd recommend the Luminous Arc series if you're a fan of Final Fantasy Tactics. My very favorite DS RPG is Fighting Fantasy:The Warlock of Firetop Mountain,and no i am not talking about final fantasy,and Fighting Fantasy is not copying final fantasy because the Fighting Fantasy game is based off the Fighting Fantasy gamebooks which were made before final fantasy was made,and Fighting Fantasy is way different,its a First-Person RPG much like the first couple Elder Scrolls games.though the Fighting Fantasy game is not very well known and the reviewers say this game is crap,but do not listen to them,and anyway almost all users say its real good.and i almost forgot this game is not like shin megami tensei,because Fighting Fantasy does not have grid walking and in Fighting Fantasy it has real-time combat.
